TerniEnergia Adapts Strategy as Italy PV Cools

October 11, 2011

On 27 September 2011, Italy-based PV developer TerniEnergia presented its revised 2011-2013 business plan, adapted to the changing Italian PV conditions.  The revised plan focuses on three areas: shifting site focus to industrial roofs in Italy; teaming up with utilities to expand internationally; and building up a business around energy efficiency.  Key trends in this On Point include:

  • Italian rooftop PV market transitions.
  • Pre-registration offers pipeline transparency.
  • TerniEnergia takes integrated approach to the building sector.

Additional PV market analysis on Italy and Germany, as well as other established and emerging European solar markets, is available through IHS EER's new market study -- Europe Solar PV Markets and Strategies: 2011-2025. Follow this link to download a free excerpt and the study's table of contents.
