On 3 June 2010, Argentina's state energy player Energía Argentina S.A. (ENARSA) announced the results of its first major renewables initiative since 2007. ENARSA awarded 15-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) to 32 projects totaling 895 MW. Wind projects seized 84% of this capacity (754 MW) with tariffs between US$120/MWh and US$135.20/MWh.
