Renewable


Utilities and Independent Power Producers are looking to build generation capacity face difficult choices ahead. Environmental concerns constrain large hydro and emissions-heavy coal. Oil supplies are dwindling. Natural gas production and transport infrastructure are inadequate. And nuclear generation shows little sign of thawing. Renewables are emerging not only as a clean power source but also as a hedge against price fluctuations with traditional fuel sources.
