Responsibilities:
As Senior Analyst, you will play a major role in IHS EER's wind energy advisory practice with responsibility for research and analysis of market and competitive activity in the US wind power industry. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with advisory clients, including executives in manufacturers, utilities, IPPs, wind project developers, financial and technology companies. Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record of at least five years experience in an analytical role in the energy industry, with 3-5 years experience specifically in the US wind power industry.
The position requires solid analytical and quantitative skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience with telephone and internet-based research. As part of the global wind energy advisory group, the senior analyst must be able to work in a team environment, and to lead or contribute to collaborative projects.
An MBA or equivalent Masters degree is required. Proficiency required in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Multi-lingual capabilities a plus.

As Research Director, you will direct IHS EER's wind energy advisory practice, which provides a syndicated stream of research deliverables to a broad range of clients in the energy industry, including utilities, manufacturers, wind project developers, and financial institutions. You will be responsible for managing a small team of analysts covering the North American wind power industry, and for meeting corporate objectives for all group output. You will direct new initiatives in research direction and client service. You will have full responsibility for managing relationships with advisory clients in collaboration with sales account managers. You will be expected to:
The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated track record of at least ten years experience in an analytical role in the energy industry, with 3-5 years experience specifically in the wind power industry or supply chain.
The position requires demonstrated management experience, solid analytical and quantitative skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience directing telephone and internet-based research. The research director is expected to manage on a collaborative basis, and to support and communicate corporate objectives across advisory staff.
