Analyst ProfilesThomas Gregory, Senior Analyst, European Renewable Energy Advisory Thomas Gregory is a Senior Analyst in EER's European Renewable Energy Advisory Group. An expert in business/strategic development, Thomas has more than ten years experience as an M&A analyst and financial consultant in Central and Eastern Europe, and has produced market research for European photovoltaic and wind energy companies. He holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia Universitys School of International and Public Affairs and a BA in English from Western Connecticut State University. Thomas is based out of EERs Barcelona office. Matthew Kaplan, Analyst, North American Wind Energy Advisory Matthew Kaplan is an Analyst for EER's North American Wind Energy Group. He primarily focuses on the strategies of utilities, developers, IPPs, and wind turbine manufacturers in North America, providing extensive analysis for EER’s market studies on the US and Canadian wind power markets. A recent graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts, Matt has conducted extensive research on the US’s first proposed offshore wind farm. He is based out of EER’s Cambridge office. Alex Klein, Senior Analyst, Clean Power Generation Advisory Alex Klein is a Senior Analyst in EER's Renewable and Clean Power Generation Advisory Group. He provides market research and analysis to leading energy companies on their alternative energy strategies including large-scale solar, biomass, and clean coal technologies. Prior to joining EER, Alex was a Senior Analyst with Juniper Consultancy Services in the UK, specializing in novel thermal treatment technologies including gasification and pyrolysis. Alex has an MS in Engineering from Columbia University and a BS from the University of Vermont. He is based out of EER’s Cambridge, office. Joshua T. Magee, Research Director, Wind Energy Advisory Joshua T. Magee is a Senior Analyst in EER's North American Wind Energy Advisory Group. In this role, Josh coordinates and provides competitive strategy and market analysis to leading developers and utilities in the North American wind industry on key trends and market opportunities. Prior to joining EER, Josh worked in Texas and New York as a project developer for Horizon Wind Energy, a Goldman Sachs-owned wind energy development, construction, and operations company based in Houston, TX. Josh holds a BA with honors in International Relations from Stanford University. He is based out of EER’s Cambridge office. Caitlin Pollock, Analyst, Asia Pacific Wind Energy Advisory Caitlin Pollock is EER's Asia Pacific Wind Energy Analyst, focusing on wind market developments and business strategies in China, India, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Prior to joining EER, she interned for BP China and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, taught French, and worked on Capital Hill. She speaks Chinese, French, and intermediate Spanish. Cait received a B.A. from Hamilton College, a M.A. from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and a certificate from the Middlebury College Chinese School. She is based out of EER's Cambridge office. Catalina Robledo, Analyst, European Wind Energy Advisory Catalina Robledo is an Analyst in EER's European Wind Energy Advisory Group. In this role, Catalina is responsible of providing wind market analysis for Europe and facilitating consulting projects for EER’s global clients. She has presented at key industry conferences including those of the European Wind Energy Association and British Wind Energy Association. Prior to joining EER, Catalina worked as a market research analyst and consultant with Pyramid Research, a telecommunications advisory and consulting company. She received an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Catalina is based out of EER’s Barcelona office. Eduard Sala de Vedruna, Senior Analyst, European Wind Energy Advisory Eduard Sala de Vedruna is a Senior Analyst in EER's European Wind Energy Advisory Group. In this role, Eduard coordinates and provides competitive strategy and market analysis to leading developers and utilities in the European wind industry on key trends and market opportunities. Prior to joining EER, Eduard worked seven years as a market research analyst and consultant at International Venture Consultants, acquiring a large experience in energy. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Barcelona. Eduard is based out of EERs Barcelona office. Cristiano Spillati, Project Consultant Cristiano Spillati participates in the ongoing research and delivery of EER's consulting projects. He has extensive experience in primary research and consulting in Europe and Latin America, and is an expert in the areas of wind power, solar power, biomass, and wave/tidal energy. Prior to joining EER, Cristiano worked as an analyst, consultant, and Regional Director at Ovum Ltd, as well as a competitive intelligence analyst at BT Telecom. Cristiano received an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a First Degree in law from the University of Bologna. Cristiano is based out of EER’s Barcelona office. Reese Tisdale, Senior Analyst, Renewable Power Generation Advisory Reese Tisdale participates in EER's ongoing research and delivery of consulting projects for both domestic and international clients in the wind, carbon, and biofuel sectors. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, market research, channel analysis, and due diligence. Prior to joining EER, Reese worked as the International Market Manager at Fisher Scientific and as an Environmental Project Manager for several multinational oil companies. Reese holds a BS in Natural Resources from The University of the South, Sewanee, and an MBA from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). Reese is based out of EER’s Cambridge office. |
