France Catches the Renewables Train
France’s renewable power sector has lagged behind its European peers, but the government is now looking to catch up. To bolster local industry and spur job growth, the French government is calling for 30 GW of non-hydro based
renewables to be installed by 2020. French companies engaged in solar PV, biomass, and offshore wind projects are well-positioned to benefit as they press ahead with their renewables strategies.
